Frequently asked questions
Do the QR codes expire?
No. The QR code encodes your text directly — there is no redirect service involved, so it works forever and never expires.
What size should I print?
For reliable scanning, print the code at least 2 × 2 cm (0.8 in) per side and keep the quiet zone (blank margin) around it. Use the larger sizes for posters.
Can I put a Wi-Fi password in a QR code?
Yes — encode the text "WIFI:S:network;T:WPA;P:password;;" (replacing network and password) and most phones will offer to join the network when they scan it.
Can I use the QR codes commercially?
Yes. Codes are generated on your device from your own text, with no watermark or licence — use them on menus, posters, products and business cards.
